Pomobar is a sleek and customizable Pomodoro timer built with Python and PyQt5. It lives as a thin, always-on-top progress bar at the edge of your screen, so you always see how much of your work or break session is left without it getting in the way.

Download (Windows)
The floppy disk at the top of this page downloads the portable version (Pomobar-2.0.0-portable.zip): no installation needed. Unzip it anywhere and run Pomobar.exe. Keep the _internal folder next to the exe.
An installer (Start menu entry, optional "start with Windows", uninstaller, no admin rights needed) is available on the GitHub Releases page.
Windows SmartScreen may warn about an unknown publisher because the app isn't code-signed. Click More info → Run anyway.

Run from source
The source code is on GitHub.
pip install -r requirements.txt
python pomoBar_v2.py
Build it yourself
On Windows, run:
build.bat
It creates a virtual environment, builds dist\Pomobar\Pomobar.exe with PyInstaller, zips a portable copy and, if Inno Setup 6 is installed, builds the installer too.
